IMU Assistant Recruitment 2024 Registration Underway: Indian Maritime University has invited applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant and Assistant Maritime. Registrations are going on and the last date to apply will come in a few days. Therefore, those candidates who are eligible and interested but have not been able to fill the form till now due to some reason, should apply for these vacancies immediately. How many posts will be filled
Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed on a total of 27 posts. Out of these, 15 posts are of Assistant and 12 posts are of Assistant (Finance). What is the eligibility for application
To apply for these posts, it is necessary that the candidate has a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates who have graduated in any discipline can apply for the post of Assistant. Whereas, only candidates who have graduated in Commerce, Maths or Statistics are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Finance.

how much will the fee be
To apply for these posts, candidates will have to pay the fee according to the category. For example, the fee for the general category is Rs 1000. Whereas the fee for SC, ST category is Rs 500. Female candidates and PH candidates do not have to pay the fee.
How will the selection be done
The selection of candidates for these posts will be done after passing several rounds of examinations. In this, first a computer based recruitment exam will be taken. After this there will be document verification and finally medical examination will be taken. The selection of the candidates who pass all the stages will be final. Also, only those who pass one stage will go to the next stage.
